For instance, as soon as you do a drawing that you know will be viewed at different scales and may have multiple angles of view, you really need to create a visible command bar. If you don’t, you end up with a long list of command bars or standard system menus that get hidden under drawing objects.
If you make the drawing viewable at a variety of scales, you will want to create a command bar. You can access a command bar from any command line. You can even have several command bars at the same time.
To create a command bar, set up your drawing by adding views, and create a command bar for each one. Then, when you work, just place your drawing in the view that you want to use. All of the commands and options that you have available will be visible at that size and angle. If you want to place a drawing view, use the command “Command Bar Tools – Manage Command Bars.” This opens a window that lets you remove or change the command bars. To make the command bar appear at the bottom of the screen, select View – Navigation – Command Bar at the bottom of the screen.
Each command bar has a small down arrow. Click the down arrow to open the command bar.
