AutoCAD Crack+ Download PC/Windows (2022)

Since then, a series of upgrades have continued to refine and expand the features and functionality of AutoCAD Crack, and the software is the industry-standard for most kinds of 2D and 3D drawing. In the early 2000s, the software introduced the ability to create 3D models with animation using an additional plug-in (feature of a drawing program) called AutoCAD LT.

As with the other Autodesk software, AutoCAD is available in several versions: AutoCAD 200, AutoCAD 2006, AutoCAD 2007 and AutoCAD 2009.

The following is a list of the different versions of AutoCAD:

History of AutoCAD

The AutoCAD logo depicts the AutoCAD program symbol and the word AutoCAD, with the letter A on top of the letter C and the number 2. The old-fashioned way of using AutoCAD is to first download and install the software on your computer, and then choose which version you want to use to open drawings.

The first version of AutoCAD, AutoCAD 200, was released in June 2000 for Windows only, and later for DOS (which means it was created for DOS-based systems, such as Windows 3.1). It was available as both a stand-alone drawing program and as a plug-in for the Microsoft Paint program.

AutoCAD was created by Christophe Loire, born in 1952, and Daniel Morsing, born in 1954, in a garage in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where they both worked at the same company, Micromedia.

This initial software was developed in a collaborative effort between the two, but according to Loire, they later grew apart, and Loire eventually left the company in 1992 and began developing his own applications in his garage.

Application programming interfaces

Currently, AutoCAD is available for the Microsoft Windows, Linux, and macOS platforms, the latter being supported by the program Viewer. These versions can be run on most modern desktop PCs and laptops. However, the program can be run on embedded devices that contain a Microsoft Windows or Linux operating system, such as the iPad and Android tablets. AutoCAD can be used on IBM AS/400 and other platforms that include DB2 and other applications.

AutoCAD has a collection of programming interfaces that allow it to be embedded in other products. This is accomplished through application programming interfaces (APIs), which are language agnostic (it is possible to use the AutoCAD API in C++ or Visual Basic.NET). Through these APIs, users may create a drawing in the program, which may be saved to the local hard drive, or it may be imported into other applications that support the AutoCAD API. Alternatively, a drawing may be shared in real time using the display of the drawing directly to the screen or attached to the interface of a different application that uses the same interface. Other functionality can be achieved with the APIs, including performing complex drawing operations, viewing or editing other documents, communicating with AutoCAD via data exchange formats, and generating reports of other AutoCAD data.

Some of the current AutoCAD API modules include:

Interface for Applications
Interface for Controllers (IFC)
Interface for Reports
Interface for Web Services (IWS)
Autodesk Exchange Apps (AEP)

Batch processing
AutoCAD allows the creation of very large files through the process of batch processing. This is accomplished by following a series of commands to manipulate the selected objects in a file (such as geometry, blocks, colors, linetypes, linetypes, dimensions, text styles, views, and layers). Batch processing can be used to save time by simultaneously processing multiple objects in one pass without having to select each one individually. Also, it may be used for large files where there is no support for creating large drawings (for example, a raster image of a city can be used in a construction document). Although batch processing does not create files in the interactive drawing mode, it is used to create file sets that can be later applied to the drawing interactively.

Batch processing can be performed interactively or non-interactively. In the interactive mode, batch processing begins once the command has been selected. This is

Import & Markup by RiverBender

Markup Assist is designed to be a workflow partner to Markup Import.

For quick, accurate, consistent marking up of a design, Markup Assist simplifies the import of manual or screen-based design documentation directly into a DWG file.

The Markup Assist import process is simple and intuitive, requiring the user to select a source format and then enter the file’s dimensions and other information. The application automatically figures out the best path for data, even if it has to convert between image formats, and it can import and mark up any combination of 2D/3D/graphics or screen-based source formats, including PDFs, Web pages, Microsoft Word (docx), Hypercard, Visio and VARIA format files, and it can import from multiple sources.

There are a variety of ways to transfer content to DWG and BIM format. You can draw any content using a mouse or touchscreen or import from any source format supported by Microsoft Office and AutoCAD: Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Word (docx), PDF, Hypercard, VARIA, and other file formats. You can drag content directly from a file manager, cloud storage service, email, website, or database. You can also import images.

You can import most image types, but the import of high-resolution bitmap images requires a faster computer with more RAM (RAM) and more CPU (CPU) speed.

With Markup Assist, you can work with source content more easily and quickly, and you can incorporate it into drawings more easily and accurately. You can import a variety of source types, without any complex conversion, and you can mark up content in a variety of formats.
